Our history

“A small church with a big heart”

Jamestown Presbyterian Church began in 1895.The original white clapboard church stands to the right of the current church, and is used as our Fellowship Hall.

Meeting House

In 1930 the name Jamestown Presbyterian Church was adopted. A decision was made in 1990 to build a new church and attach it to an existing education wing.

Groundbreaking and construction of the new Jamestown Presbyterian Church building began in 1994, and by 1995 the new church was dedicated and the congregation moved into the new sanctuary.  The church became debt-free in 2008.

The current pastor, Reverend Dr. Daniel T. Klein, was installed in 1998.  Reverend Klein, or Danny, as he prefers to be called, his wife Barbara and their daughters are active in the life of our church.

Jamestown Presbyterian Church – U.S.A. is a medium-size church with many long time church members. New families to the Williamsburg area as well as local families and individuals seeking a church home continue to add to our diverse and active membership.

Our doors are open to all who share the belief and mystery of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior
